Buzzards Field Ukuleles

All ukuleles, whether soprano or baritone are designed with standard width and tension ukulele strings.  Bass strings wouldn’t fit at all. The bass strings on our bass ukulele kits require a scale length of about 19 inches, and a nut / saddle width to accommodate the girth of all 4 strings.  Conveniently enough – the exact same measurements of a small classical guitar, which is the genius idea of our bass ukulele conversion kits. Buzzards Field sell a kit which allows a small classical guitar to become a short scale bass ukulele and accept bass ukulele strings.
